Don't let the Bible tard distract you OP They just try to hold us in fear of our truth ..The truth will set you free ...and they prefer submission . |

I was OBE'ing one night and in astral I visited my own house in another time - I was back in 1943 and visited the people who lived there. One middle aged woman who told me her name living on the first floor, and two old sisters living on the second floor. That's not the most pussling thing though: The old ladies told me to have a look in the mirror. I looked in the mirror and saw my own spirit body. I could clearly see that it was me, but I was much younger (about 20 yrs old) a beautiful young woman - and my eyes were closed as if I was sleeping. Then they told me to take the garbage out once I woke up and I promised I'd do so. I woke up and realized I had been watching my own "sleeping" spirit body, and the "garbage", well I interpreted it as to get rid of all the negative stuff in my life, and I have been working on it ever since. |

And not only that, one must come to face death as part of the human condition. You and I, and everyone will die. That is certain. Death is the ultimate and final entry into Pure Silence. At that point all the struggling, all the grasping and controlling is finished whether we wish that to be or not. Death is our final friend, our destiny as a living being. However, I offer that it is the fear of death, of the unknown finality of it, of the dissolution into nothingness, which has been the central concern of all humanity since the beginning, whether consciously, unconsciously or subconsciously. We know that someday we will not be alive and the fear is that we will not be aware as well. Consider this in yourself right now. Because there is tremendous freedom here if you admit that someday you will be nothing itself. If you invite this into your consciousness, no matter how painful it seems, you will see the absolute joy of it all. In death the Pure Silence that you are will finally return to the source, the center, the all of Pureness itself. There you will not have body with brain, brain with thought and memory, and memory with emotion. If you consider that, at first it is a little scary. That is the reason religion has invented concepts like heaven to sooth humanity's fears about this. It is my humble opinion that our fear of being nothing, being dead, being silent, is all related to this. Spend a few moments right now and welcome death to yourself psychologically. Investigate the fact that someday you will be gone, your thoughts, dreams, memories, hopes, goals, desires - everything will be gone. What will be left, what is left, only Pure, gentle, loving Silence. This is you, right now. |

Quoting: mike 1404503I have a feeling deep down that this is true. Some dreams are just too vivid to dismiss. Science tries to explain it all away with fancy neuro-theories, but until we can use 100% of our brains we can't be so arrogant as to claim we know it with the same percentage. It is entirely possible that we are all "asleep" and that dreams are in fact glimpses of the real world. After all, so much about the universe, gravity, physics "doesn't add up". Think about it. We can FLY in our "dreams". We can do anything we want. This is the "Heaven" they talk about. The crossing over into the REAL life. |

The spiritual realm is far more "real" than the physical. We are created in the image of God, and we are spirit beings living in physical bodies. When we die, we leave the physical behind, and depart for either Heaven or Hell, depending on whether our names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Don't die and wake up in Hell. Jesus Christ died to provide you an escape from that fate. |

A babe before walking will first stumble and fall many times but NEVER gives up until he succeeds. Always remember, ultimately, to never follow any person's belief. Your relationship with God is between you and God. If nothing else, remember this: religion = subservience, control and conformity, the same template as EVERY government "Most believers would kill truth if truth threatened their religion." L. K. Washburn "This crime called blasphemy was invented by priests for the purpose of defending doctrines not able to take care of themselves." Robert Ingersoll "If anyone wants to know how God feels, it's a warm light as if the sun is poking through dark clouds and lifting your spirits with pure joy." |

The hollowness you feel is this empty projection. You are no longer here. Wake up. You will love where you really are when you wake up. Life is a dream. . . dream. . . dream. Wake up. This dream is not yours. It has to start somewhere It has to start sometime What better place than here What better time than now. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1340350 Canada 07/13/2011 06:37 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have a feeling that "we" (whatever that is) are all that exists. Call it God if you wish. Well, that's pretty boring to be all that is, to know all that is, etc. SO, "we" created a virtual reality world that "we" could immerse ourselves in, which is 1) why there are so many paradoxes 2) why nothing actually makes sense when you look at the heart of the matter 3) why we can't truly know anything with absolute certainty 4) why the universe seems to be fit for humanity and the challenges that its mind and will love 5) why so many have an innate knowlege of the existence of God, yet we can't prove it (we know God exists kinda like we know we do). We get to experience things this way and not know that we are even in a VR until we wake-up. Perhaps when we die, if that is how the program is set? Why would we choose to do such a thing? Like I said, being existence itself is probably rather boring. Besides, we'll wake up and think it was awesome no matter how much we hate the crap we put up with now because we'll suddenly realize that we wanted to do it and the reasons why, and we'll also realize that we knew exactly what we were getting into before we entered the program. And I think there's nifty little things inside this matrix too, that "we" put there to be discovered and to use. |
