'The Four Agreements' a book by Don Miguel Ruiz is wonderful inspiration for getting started on the road of inner reflection, self-empowerment and positive change.

Our familial, social, cultural, religious and political conditionings have left each one of us with a lot of internal false beliefs of ourselves, others and the world around us. Building awareness of their existence and of the host of internalised critics we listen to on autopilot, is the first step to turning the key to the lock of the false prison each one of us has needlessly forced ourselves into. A bit of oil on that lock and the hinges and basically we are free to go - eventually over time it becomes possible to stop returning to the prison or at least to avoid staying in there too long.

There is no need to look at what the next person is doing or needs to do, each one of us has enough work of our own to contend with, but in walking this path it is possible to serve as example and inspiration to others and to model authenticity and integrity to the coming generations, the ones who will make such very different choices.

Yes, our lack of faith in ourselves is the reason past generations have failed. We must transcend our social structure so we can give birth to a new one, and the only way is through the younger generations. We must inspire and aspire towards a greater world. We must hold on, never submitting to this failed social structure. We have our rights as human beings!

Without myself: My eyes are attached to me so it's impossible to do without myself.
Within myself: My eyes only turn 170 degrees so this would need brute force and would be a pain in the ass.

We are the ones THEY are waiting for.

We've already saved our self, hence why we're the ones we've been waiting for, yes?

So it can only be those who haven't saved themselves that are waiting.

Are they worth saving if they won't save themselves by their own codependent and apathetic ignorance?

We are the archetype for change, an example for those who don't know where they are going. We are not leaders, but an inspiration for others.

They might not all be saved, but everyone is worthy of being saved. Time will tell...

To find answers within you, the first thing one must do is dispose of all beLIEfs.....get rid of them immediately.
Do not believe anything, but keep an open mind and just allow that place inside of you....that higher part of you that you have not allowed to guide you so far, allow it to start filtering info from within you.
As soon as you discard all the beliefs that have been instilled in you from your parents/teachers/preachers/friends (you get the picture)you will start to get insight from within you.
Next thing....which is just as important as getting rid of beliefs (which are merely a ball and chain) is to stop seeing things in this world as good/bad!!!!
There is no good or bad, you have been lied to about who you are, what you are capable of, and now it is time to allow YOU to guide YOU!!!!
Nothing will impact you like this will when you tare down the walls of illusion......it is time to wake up now!!!!!
Once you do this.....i can promise you, you will find that peace of mind you have searched for and the joy you will feel will be your indicator that you know you are on your path to freedom...
Now don't waste another minute if you are serious about wanting free.....get going!!!!!

Yeah the placebo effect is a prime example for the power our consciousness has over the body. And people say "blahdy blahdy blah, your brain just does it and its all electrochemical signals" and then i say "why would a group of cells (the body) react differently to a sugar pill than a single cell?" It is just molecules after all. Some type of conscious change occurs between the time of eating the sugar pill to the time of being healed. If consciousness didn't have an effect on the observed than there would be no placebo effect whatsoever.

I think you misunderstand the message, to look within is to look inside your thoughts not actually look at your insides. That's just gross lol.
