Socialism in the modern world
This topic was raised on voice chat the other night and no-one could quite agree whether it was a good or bad thing. IMO, all countries (capitalist or communist) are doomed to become socialist. Capitalist countries socio-financial structures are too delicate to handle a depression in the economy- too many people would become poor. Communist countries in order for their economies to survive would have to adopt more socialistic governmental practices while still keeping benefits for the people; this or their economies would stagnate and be out-competed.

Socialist countries have the best of both.

So, your opinions on this...

Well.

defaults and bancruptcy are the cleaning mechanisms of economy.

Your products suck, you are lazy, you are to expensive = you are gone.

So some go and make place for new players in the market.

By bailing out banks you just safe what, after all, should not and most likely won´t be saved.

National Socialism for the win. It is the government of the future, might as well hop on board because Capitalism is by now obviously Jewish as fuck.

These two quotes are in order here for clarification:

"The goal of socialism is communism." Lenin

"If one understands that socialism is not a share-the-wealth program, but is in reality a method to consolidate and control the wealth, then the seeming paradox of super-rich men promoting socialism becomes no paradox at all. Instead, it becomes logical, even the perfect tool of power-seeking megalomaniacs. Communism or, more accurately, socialism, is not a movement of the downtrodden masses but of the economic elite." - Gary Allen

Socialism as well communism and capitalism are theories based on the knowledge of the 19th century. None of them are accurate these days. You speak, frankly said, about corpses.

One thing to look out for in this discussion is false comparisons of "true" Socialism to those fascist systems that masqueraded as Socialist.

Both Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia are examples of false socialism.

Re: Socialism in the modern world
These are both good examples of the false comparison that I mentioned above. Lenin's system was a fascist oligarchy, not true socialism.

It is that faux-socialism that Gary Allen is describing.

Re: Socialism in the modern world
There's a reason that TPTB run such a smear campaign on socialism. If the sheeple realized what socialism really was (not this faux facist socialism) they'd lose all their power to us, the common people.

Re: Socialism in the modern world
True socialism, the ideal is:

Socialism is an economic system in which the means of production are publicly or commonly owned and controlled co-operatively, or a political philosophy advocating such a system.[1][2] As a form of social organization, socialism is based on co-operative social relations and self-management; relatively equal power-relations and the reduction or elimination of hierarchy in the management of economic and political affairs.

Different types of Socialism include:

As a political movement, socialism includes a diverse array of political philosophies, ranging from reformism to revolutionary socialism. State socialist currents of socialism advocate for the nationalisation of the means of production, distribution and exchange as a strategy for implementing socialism; while social democrats advocate public control of capital within the framework of a market economy. Libertarian socialists and anarchists reject using the state to build socialism, arguing that socialism will, and must, either arise spontaneously or be built from the bottom up utilizing the strategy of dual power. They promote direct worker-ownership of the means of production alternatively through independent syndicates, workplace democracies, or worker cooperatives.
