WE HAVE ANOTHER RECORD, PEOPLE! THIS NEXT FEW DAYS OF DEADLY WEATHER-Coming to your area soon!
This is nuts. We are going to experience over 107 degree heat here in Missouri..in all my 49 years..NEVER have I seen it that hot..ever! That means the heat index will be in Microwave Popcorn mode. Look..back at the beginning of June, we had record breaking heat, and this tops that! Something isnt right guys..

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fourth of JULY is gonna be a killer, man. Im going to have to be naked just to sit outside to watch fireworks..with a bucket of ice..look..
I expect some sickness from this wave..Hyperthermia -- when the body's core temperature soars dangerously high -- is the most severe form of heat-related illness and comes with noticeable symptoms.
"You can have a change in mental status, a person is not acting right or they don't make a lot of sense, they appear a little incoherent," said Dr. Benson
Some places in Texas are over 110 degrees..this is SHake N Bake, man!
Rolling Plains: Temperatures were 110-115 degrees for several days
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It looks like Umerica isnt the only place experiencing this..UK has had its share as well,
Britain breathed a sigh of relief today as temperatures began to cool after yesterday's record-breaking heatwave.

For several hours it was thought that the new record had been set by Charlwood, near Gatwick, which recorded 36.3C (97.3F).

Our lil blue planet is going through some major changes..

This is not normal, folks..I cant say its HAARP related..I get a little offed by these Haarp people, this is going on world wide. Is it the sun? I dont know..but I do know its definitely a record year, for many things!

Floods, storms, earthquakes, and now heat? Not to mention giant holes opening up around the world..is the earth imploding?

Japan too?

The Japan Meteorological Agency will start issuing a ‘‘heat advisory’’ this summer on days when the temperature is expected to reach 35 degrees Celsius or higher the next day, as there are growing concerns about heatstroke with energy saving by cutting down on air conditioning, sources close to the issue said Thursday.

The new advisory to be issued at the prefectural level from as early as July will accompany precaution statements such as ‘‘take water and salt from late morning to evening’’ and ‘‘don’t become hesitant to use air conditioning,’’ according to the sources.

I ran the GFS weather model and WOW, talk about a heat wave. Some days the entire united states is 70 degrees above. And we are talking about northern states into Canada near the Arctic.

Danger From Record Plains Heat

The next couple of days look dangerously hot for much of the Plains states, with temperatures and humidity soaring.

As an area of upper-level high pressure builds into the Central part of the country today, look for records to be broken as heat rises. With high levels of humidity also in store, the air will feel almost unbearable.

Temperatures should be well over 100 degrees in parts of Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas today. Similar heat is expected Friday.

A number of locations are forecast to top not only 100 degrees, but 110 degrees.

The crazy thing is that Montana is getting 100 degree weather this summer, and that will be melting the snow like crazy. This is not good for the already screwed Missouri river. I live here in St. Louis as well and I am concerned.

Yeah, that is in UTC time if you were wondering. I storm chase and it is the best data source I go to for forecasting. The RUC is pretty much 99% accurate, the NAM is good for finding out weather patterns in the next couple days and the GFS is for forecasting up to 17 days. The GFS is what your local news station likes to use for "the week ahead."

Missouri Residents Prepare for High Water
by The Associated Press , on Jun 29, 2011 3:44 pm ET

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The Missouri River, distended from weeks of record releases out of upstream dams and recent rain, has pushed its way into Missouri, flooding riverfront farmland and towns, displacing hundreds of residents and raising concern in cities and towns further downstream.

"It has hit," said Gia McFarlane, spokeswoman for Parkville, a town of about 5,000 located along the Missouri River north of Kansas City. "The park is inundated. The water comes up quite a bit seemingly every day. Right now it's just filling the low-lying area."

Yes of course that is not surface temperature but rather a reading directly in the sun. We live in the central/south and it does get hot around this time of year. The concern however is the northern states and Canada. The rivers are bloated because of it.

When I was younger I recall a few times experiencing 100 degree temps here in Indiana. It's been years so aren't we due? I mean, isn't it just the cyclical way of weather patterns? I don't think it necessarily means something omnibus is going on.
