SOMETHING STRANGE HAPPENED TONIGHT...Thought Id share.. | |
I Know- I AM
User ID: 1246472 United States 06/28/2011 12:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I went to the grocery store tonight...and upon leaving..I stepped out of the cool, air conditioned store into what felt like a steam bath. Quoting: Lady IvoryI uttered.."Good lord, its like walking into a sauna"..I tend to talk to myself, alot..lol.. And older , bearded gentleman, sort of a Grizzly Adams type, was walking across the parking lot, and apparently heard me, stopped and asked me where I was from. "Oh, Im from here in Missouri". I told him "Ahhh," he says.." I just got back from Wisconsin and Im wondering why I came back, now. I think I'm done with this part of the country, I want to go back! It's hard to breathe!" "Not used to the humidity, yet? " I asked him, knowing full well no one gets "used" to it. "No.." he says"..but I came back here for the caves.".. Wow, this kind of shocked me..I mean..you start talking to a stranger and that's usually not the first thing you'd hear out of their mouths. "Oh.." I say.."Well...I have mine picked out..dont you take mine!" I said, jokingly. "I had one years ago..but Im so old now, I dont think I can find it." Then he continued on.." We'll see how those muslims do when they come over here and get ticks in their ass.." He said..laughingly. I wasnt sure what that had to do with finding caves..but I think I got the gist of what he meant. I like your story. Let me tell you one. I was at a drug store waiting for meds to be filled. An elderly lady had some problems with her GI tract so I gave her some advice told her I was a nurse. She said thanks. Then she pulled me aside and showed me a tin box. She said,"see this"? I said yes. She said I put my credit cards in here so no one can walk by and scan them. She had a faraday cage. I was quite surprise. I quess because I helped her she wanted to help me. We talked a minute more and upon turning to leave..he says to me.. "You have your head in the right place..keep going." This has to be the strangest conversation Ive ever had with a complete stranger. I mean..how often is it you meet an old "survivalist" At 10:00 PM in a Kroger's parking lot? Divine intervention, or just a kooky coincidence..I dont know. But it made me think, there are many other's walking around out there..that have the same thoughts. Life is taking a turn, and it's time to start thinking seriously. The ones that are prepared..and have the mindset to survive..will. The ones in their high dollar houses..wearing 500 dollar Italian made shoes and driving a BMW..well..all the money in the world wont keep you alive. I just wanted to share this with you..as the past week has really been eye opening for me. I can "feel" a change in the air..but I think it can be a good change. Doom for some, means freedom for another. Thanks for letting me rant ;) Cheers. I Know - I Am |

I'm always looking forward to a sexy story and you always deliver....Keep the good fight, good things will happen! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1439437Ehhh..no one is lowly, my dear friend..we are all just different vibrations ;)..Peace be to you and yours. I snuck a bunch of booze into work today using my stomach I can't stand it when people won't speak a little louder when I'm trying to eavesdrop on them. You people are selfish. |

Right now, 1,995 anonymous users from 65 different countries. Of course, not all of them are like minded, but I'm sure a lot of them are. And if you passed them on the street, you'd probably never know. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14460791995 might sound like a lot.. but that is a very tiny number compared to the 7 billion humans out there. In other words, one out of every 3.5 million or so are "like minded", so like, one per major city, perhaps, or one per country in some cases... That's not a lot when you think about it :p |

When in fact..it isn't mere coincidence..but a process that is meant to be? I just hope some can change in time ..I feel we are already on the train..some might not get to their destination in time. Unfortunately I also believe that a lot of times we get one of those reinforcements right before a trial. Hopefully this isn't one of those cases. I'm glad you came away from it feeling empowered and refreshed. It's a great feeling, isn't it? |
