How much time do people actually spend communicating with each other in person anymore

What percentage of the day is spent in old fashioned in person communication ?


More and more devices are becoming the medium through which we communicate ?


More and more machines are taking over for all things natural.


Some can argue that what we build to communicate is natural because we are meant to do it. But this type of living has never been done before (at least not in known and acknowledged by the MS) So what are the long term effects ?

What are we becoming when numbers and gadgets become life itself. Even for our basic necessities of life we depend on machines and numbers to get them for us. We are almost totally cut off from the way this world use to work. What will it lead to ?
