The only thing that I can think of that could be a very real danger soon is if the flooding takes out the nuclear plant near Omaha. Radiation will be carried east. Apparently there is a second one with problems also near Omaha.

The other possibilities remain "ifs and whens" such as New Madrid, Canary Islands, etc.

I heard that show and was disappointed in Noory's response. The first thing I thought of was the nuclear plant.

Look..my family DID own 1700 acres here in the heartland of Missouri..they sold it, my family is still on it..but building a new house..long story..anyway..I know every inch of that land..every cave..every generation of my family was raised on that farm...there are SO many places to survive there..caves with fresh waterfalls..there are NO people in this area...I mean..its really boonies..but tons of creeks..and other sources of food, water..its a survalists dream.
Sorry..didnt mean to ramble on..:) ITs only 4 miles from my house....my house..yes..is on the outskirts of the town of Rolla..but im still partially in the country...anyway..Im willing to take in anyone that needs it! I was raised on a farm..I know how to survive!

I also saw what appeared to be nuclear release in the middle part of the country. Do not know where exactly. General area of mid west. I think there may have been more than one. It has been awhile since I saw this.

Arkansas as well, I'm actually on the edge of civilization here, with a good stretch of wilderness and no towns all the way to the Ozarks. Which is where I would head.

What strikes me as odd..yes..that preacher guy said..May..had a stroke..then said October..you are saying MAY-OCT...could he have really seen something..but wasnt sure how he perceived it? OR is it a load of bull hockey? Maybe..you can elaborate more?

Nothing grows there probably due to some acidity or volcanic rocks that surrounds the region. And no wildlife because there is nothing to forage.

Yes! I mean..animals KNOW...they know what to eat..know where to go..its just "built" into them..the same way they all love the ripened mulberries that fall on the ground..they actually get drunk!

SO they know..that area is to be avoided...they might not know its a sleeping caldera..but they know to avoid it.

There are a lot of sleeping dormant volcanoes around the World. And many regions like you described. If it blows, she blows and there is nothing you can do about it.
