Happy Double Sabbath, Happy Pentecost weekend!

Christ is our Sabbath
NOT any specific day in the week.

Just as Christ is our Light
NOT any particular frequency of visible light

Just as Christ is our Way
NOT some pathway we can walk down

Just as Christ is the True Vine
NOT som ancient tree somewhere on earth

Just as Christ is our Bread of Life
NOT some particular loaf

Jesus Christ Himself broke the "day of the week" sabbath, which pissed off the Jews no end being blinded as they were by the letter of the law, but in God's eyes Jesus did not break the Sabbath, because HE IS THE SABBATH.

Those who are IN CHRIST, who BELIEVE INTO HIM, enter into the Sabbath rest because HE IS our Sabbath.


So with the understanding that CHRIST=SABBATH, shabat shalom, the peace of Christ to you all.
