Re: Deadly Fungus Strikes Joplin Tornado Survivors, Volunteers
I learned something new so here's a few back that are similar to GSE: oregano oil, bee propolis, beta glucan (immune booster,) and tea tree oil. Each have different uses, like tea tree is more for external use.

Barley malt (tablets, malted milk powder or syrup) cures persistent diarrhea.

Honeycomb packed into broken teeth reduces tooth abscesses.
 Quoting: Da Cat II

these are all good...however, make no mistake, they will NOT save you if you get a serious fungus/e.coli/etc.

you are going to need some serious shit in the event of the superbugs/fungii. GSE is the best we have. it is capable of fighting off these antibiotic resistant diseases because it has not been exposed to them...and it is a natural substance. as another poster commented, 'god' gave us all the cures on earth, for all the diseases on earth. this means cancer, AIDS, more...which we have proven a cure, yet is suppressed knowledge; this means everything.

these GMO diseases are not made of 'god,' but we still have a chance if we are wise in our daily choices and remedies.

please do not give up. it is not too late to change and fix this all, from within.

listen to your fellow GLP'ers who know about health and nutrition. these should be pinned posts, IMHO. how to survive. positive solutions. i wonder still where that german man went, who's wife was dying of the e.coli...every day i think of him and his wife. he came to GLP for help, and 70% of the people who responded to his plea just made jokes. please, try to be more compassionate. it could be you, or your child...think about it. there but for the grace of god, right?
 Quoting: ***DYSTOPIA***

That should be a thread, a plea for the German guy to report in. Maybe a few people could give the love and support that he deserved. I thought it was a joke thread at first, his comments about the house being too much for him to take care of....and he didn't know what to do. Probably in shock.

Just curious by what standard or research can you say GSE is better than oregano oil, among others?

I had a persistent cough that lingers and spreads in N. California foggy weather and at the same time boils all over my body that were purple tinged and would not heal after draining. The oregano oil knocked both right out, though the boils left dark colored scars and were one of the most serious infections I ever had.

I already eat an organic diet with lots of fresh foods and superfood supplements at times, so my body was fairly healthy. But if you make claims of one medical substance over other similar ones it seems it needs more evidence than opinion--which you are entitled to.

I have followed natural and herbal healing for several decades myself, and things like GSE and colloidal silver, while having their fans, haven't been in the forefront, not to dispute they might be effective. But what kind or clinical trials can one point to besides personal use--which is good also but doesn't disprove other remedies?

for a persistent cough, i'd look into other things besides GSE. it sounds like you are having some unique symptoms.

i would consider vitamin/mineral deficiency. foggy...do you get enough sun? i assume since you eat leafy greens, you are getting enough vitamin d.

i would hazard a guess that you have a blood imbalance, and would recommend treatment from an experienced acupuncturist.

EXPERIENCED. do not go to some jackass with a store front.

i have never personally experienced what you are going through, but in TCM, i would classify this as 'stagnant blood,' rooted in the liver. the liver controls blood.

i would not dare give you advice, you need to seek an acupuncturist who knows what they are doing. i could figure it out, but.

what part of no. cal are you in? there is an excellent teaching school in oakland. $20 a session plus herbal cost....if you don't have medi-cal or insurance.

[link to www.acchs.edu]

i can refer you to other good practitioners in no cal, it's where i am from.

They didnt kill enough people with their weaponised super tornado so they have now decided to finish off the survivors with a bio weapon.. I bet the ones who died or are dying were the ones who were talking too much about how many people were really missing..

That could be true, the official toll as of yesterday is 151, that includes those who have died in the hospital with injuries and those who are now dying because of this fungus. This is so aweful what they have done...and to their own people too.

you need to understand...especially in the global climate...sometimes a cough is a cough, sometimes it is not. 'persistent cough' is not enough to make a diagnosis on, and i will not pretend to be capable for doing such (disclaimer! hello! i do not need the knock on my door!).

1) have you been exposed to mold?

2) do you live in a damp/humid climate?

3) is your cough dry, or juicy?

4) what is your typical diet? processed GMO foods, or conscientious organic? do you eat meat, and if so, is it organic/free range? do you consume a lot of soy product?

5) how long has the cough persevered?

you see? this is the tip of the iceberg.

what i recommend, in any case: get off processed foods, stop using microwaves, drink reverse osmosis water...i cannot possibly answer a vague question about 'a cough.'

From a news-source-that-must-not-be-named (search for headline to find the source):

Headline: Rare infection strikes some in Joplin; death toll rises to 151

Health officials say flying debris from the tornado that tore through Joplin, Missouri, last month is to blame for an outbreak of a rare but serious -- and in some cases deadly -- fungal infection among some of the more than 900 people injured in the disaster.

Soil or plant matter on debris that penetrated the skin of some of the people who survived the twister is believed to have caused them to contract an infection called zygomycosis <snip>

"It's just an unfortunate side effect of the tornado," Williams said.

******

Does this seem plausible or does it seem weird to you, too?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1331430

the story does seem weird. the Zygomycota fungus, which has been named as the cause of the infections, is not rare. according to online research done by myself and others it lives in leaf debris and the soil...and is common. it appears to me the method of infection would be from spores...ie inhalation. the story suggests that getting scratched by a nail or wood from the damaged homes is the method by which the infection is transferred...i think that kind of comment is suspicious. if anything, the tornado stirred up decaying leaf debris and soil and the spores were airborne...which means no one safe breathing the air there. better to wear respiratory protecting equipment i would think...and air quality should be tested.

Re: Deadly Fungus Strikes Joplin Tornado Survivors, Volunteers
2) WEAKENED IMMUNITY
On the correlation between low dose radiation and weakened immunity, radiation physicist, Dr. Ernest Sternglass, states in a 1986 article: "It appears that perhaps the most serious unanticipated effects of fallout is long-term, persistent immune deficiency." And he clarifies, "It can weaken the immune defenses of the body at very low total doses leading to unexpectedly large increases in infectious diseases and cancers." (Int. J. Biosocial Res., July 1986, p. 18)

Initially zealous misrepresentation of the facts led the public to understand that small amounts of radiation were of no special concern. Yet these low levels are exactly the cause of weak immunity and resulting diseases.

Authorities couldn't ignore emerging data and in December 1989, the government sponsored National Academy of Sciences stated in a report titled Biological Effects of Radiation that there was no safe level of radiation.

Low protracted doses of radiation cause physiological damage through the formation of free radicals. A free radical is a molecule with an imbalance in electrons which can destabilize other molecules resulting in cellular damage and disease.

In high, short doses like the Hiroshima bomb blast, radiation primarily causes direct damage to the nucleus of cells where the genes are located that control the functioning of the cell. In contrast, low doses acting continuously over time produce their damage indirectly through the generation of free radicals that destroy cell-membranes, hundreds to thousands of times more efficiently than might be expected in calculations related to high-dose damage. So the everyday amount of radiation that is released as part of the normal operation of the world's 400 nuclear power plants is a very grave concern. Nuclear power plants must have releases in order to function, and these releases, even though they may be partially filtered, allow radiation to go into our air and drinking water, and onto farmland and into our food.

The everyday releases of low-level radioactivity by nuclear power plants has been found to cause several kinds of health damage including premature births, congenital defects, infant mortality, mental retardation, heart ailments, arthritis, diabetes, allergies, asthma, cancer, genetic damage and chronic fatigue syndrome. It has been linked to previously unknown infectious diseases, and the resurgence of old ones by damaging the developing white blood cells originating in the bone marrow and thus weakening the immune system.

Dr. Sternglass conjectures what could happen: "With countless thousands of persons having a weaker and weaker immune system as the result of increasing radioactive contamination of the air and food chain, an AIDS mutation-like disease could become a new Black Plague. It's not inconceivable that entire nations could be decimated." (Interview in National Catholic Reporter, October 16, 1997)

For those that are awake to this. What really can we do here? Im confused on that. I am observing these events of the world and there are just so many bad things going on that I almost feel like there is no hope to change things the way they are currently done today. We are past that point. Its just so frustrating to see these things for what they really are and the simple solution to fix these problems and people want to argue. Cant everyone see, we are all to busy fighting with each other to fix anything and I mean everyone, its freaking everywhere and it is fixing absolutely nothing. We are against us and that makes no sense to me. Im frustrated that we do these things to each other. I cant make people love and care more but I cant stop because of those who cant and dont do that right now. So this story, movie, life, whatever you want to call it is wearing me down because we the human species of this planet as 1 are doing this to each other and we can change this. Its so freaking easy and I am so freaking frustrated becuase we cant put out differences aside and stop all this stupid irrevelent shit to get to the real problems so we can work on them and make sure everyones basic needs are met. Come on here. We need to take care of each other here. Thats how we survive.

it seems VERY weird.

look, i know of a cure for a lot of this shit hitting us...something that is more effective than antibiotics...i'm afraid to say what it is though until i have run out and bought six more bottles.

it is not colloidal silver. it is MUCH stronger and effective.

you guys will probably laugh and not believe me, though.

but if your life depended on it, you might consider.

i cured MRSA with this shit.

afraid to say cause i know shills are watching, and the FDA is looking for the next ban....BUT IT WORKS.

i could post a new thread on it and have it be completely ignored...this is something none of you know about. i want to help, but in so doing, i don't want to limit or get the availability banned.

do you understand?

it's quite possible that your right there, they were keeping reporters away before symptoms of this fungus would have shown up. Seen some where in this thread it takes between 5 and 10 days or something. So it's a possibility that they knew it might happen. Not sure they work on this sort of stuff in hospitals though.
