I feel like this hurricane season the Pacific is going to get a few big ones. i'm from no. cal, 17 years IN san francisco, 6 in the east bay, and whether it's arrogance or just stupidity, MOST people i know are just like, oh we get EQ's all the time, too bad for everyone else, we're used to it...but VERY few are actually prepared or paying attention. i see it on twitter feeds, all kinds of places, besides personal experience. watch a big one hit the bay or so cal. people will be in shock, because, you know, 'we get EQ's all the time, no big deal, the rest of you are wimps, blah blah.' left the san andreas for the cascadia subduct, actually feel much safer here.
