Anyone believes in Feng Shui?
Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese science originating from over 3000 years ago.

It studies the energy circulation in nature as well as the effect of the living environment on people.

For centuries, the Chinese, even people from other country have been utilizing Feng Shui at their residential and business premises as an aid to help them achieve the desired well-being, success, happiness, health and longevity.

I've always thought the part about it being bad luck to have a roof beam right over your bed made a lot of sense.

I've never tried any of the rest of it...but some of it is just plain common sense.

Re: Anyone believes in Feng Shui?
I've always thought it has more to do with your own personal beliefs/energy... you arrange things around you in a certain way, and believe it's good for you, so you lend a lot of positive energy/vibes to your surroundings... I honestly believe that if you duct-taped a stuffed giraffe to your ceiling and believed it was good for you, and would bring you health, safety, and success, then your energy would be positive in those surroundings and have the same effect.

That's not to say I think it's a waste of time... if it makes you feel good, doesn't hurt anyone, and gives you clarity, why not?

I do op : )

At least i try some of the ideas... I keep crystals in the windows, mirrors in certain areas, my bed pushed out a bit from the walls. And try to only have happy images no solitary ones..

I like the concepts alot they resonate for me : )

I would agree, but it is not just you who feels smooth energy flow. Anyone entering a room you organized using feng shui principles is going to feel it as well. its natural

Re: Anyone believes in Feng Shui?
a chiropractor i went to had his office feng shui'd. she had him move the water cooler that was near the bathroom(easily accessible) into another room and of course everyone had to put the toilet seat down and then make sure the door was shut. it became such a chore to remember everything and then try to find the damn water cooler that my family and i found another chiropractor. i just hated going into the place anymore. the energy was all wrong. looks like he lost money instead of attracting it and we never referred anyone to him again. it was such a nice place and after that change i couldn't stand being in there. changing little things do make a difference but sometimes in a bad way.

Feng Shui is a science that directly reflects how we perceive, use, and perhaps most imporantly how we leave our environment.

People living in lower, self defeating consciousness are messy, unclean and unorganized, and their environment reflects that.

Since I started using principles of feng shui, it has made a big time difference in my life flowing so much smoother. Why this isn't taught in elementary school is simply one more testament to how much oru societal systems fail at prioritizing towards intelligent, life affirming practices and reflections.

Yes, but it is mostly just getting rid of what you don't want/need; and getting everything cleaned and organized. Of course that feels great when done.

WHAT????

Umm... no! Feng Shui, directly translated into English(& I feel a bit silly writing this with someone actually from China around) means Wind Water. I think(& I must admit, this is my 2 cents worth, based on my studies in acupuncture) I think it would have started off simple, as in, 'don't build your house too close to the river, because the first flood will wash it away' & 'don't build in a valley, the first big wind will blow it into the next kingdom', but I think it has got a bit airy fairy since then, probably to sell new age books.

But having said that, I think it does become more subtle in nature, a bit like acupuncture for a house. The problem I have found is that there are so many different books with different & even contradicting opinions that it is like all the different books on dream interpretation.

I mean, not sleeping under a roofing beam, well, lots of earthquakes in Asia, right?

Just remember, Wind Water.

yep~

just like the chakra system of human body which acupuncture point play the key role of body functioning, mother earth too has its own vortex point and 'chakra lines', which i believe was the root for Feng Shui developed by ancient China who has this kinds of knowledge as many other ancient cultures,

One example from Bashar seminar pointed that many militray bases especially Area 51 was build on these virtox point of earth, where it can not only benefit the navigation of craft but many other advantanges.

which once again proofs that gov. and military know virtox very well. they just dump down the ppl.

lol

Well, I suppose if we are going to explain a university course to a grade one student, your explanation would suffice.

You are trying to tell me about feng shui because of what you learned in studying accupuncture? That's like me trying to tell you about football based on what I know about hockey.

lol

Do you even know what the feng shui grid is and how it corresponds to the magnetic grid of earth?

Precisely! How we relate to our environment, because it is a living Being too, and it has energy flow just like we do.

Don't really believe that the arrangement of my Lazy-boy brings someone good or bad luck, or disrupts or enhances some magical flow, vodoo bullshit.

However, I do believe that the arrangement of your environment can have psychological effects on a person for good or bad, and maybe feng shui has picked up on these in an empirical manner, so ultimately works to be the same.

Re: Anyone believes in Feng Shui?
Energy is easy to see.

Take a necklace/pendulum. Sit quietly, relax, clear your mind.

Hold the necklace/pendulum over a cup of coffee/soda pop/junk food. Which way does it move/rotate?

Now hold it over a glass of water, a living plant or a piece of fruit. See what happens?

There is positive and negative energy everywhere.

Have fun!

I studied this in the late 90's when I was stupid to the works of demons.

It is basically demonic.

If you trust in this to shift your life, you are believing in demons. This gives them a right in your life... and they will slowly unravel everything.

Throw out even any books you own.

Repent to God for getting into it. Then, command any and all spirits of feng shui to depart, and not return.

Fung Shui is quite a reality. The placement of objects relates to their function. Fung Shui can be translated to Function. Look at the placement of the Moon for example (or other planetary masses). The placement of such objects gives rise to the function of tides and other important planetary mechanics.
