The subject of the conversation was not clear in court, but defense lawyer Jose Baez later told Tru TV's "In Session" that the abrupt adjournment resulted from a "private matter" and that people should not speculate.

Prosecution is probably going to offer a deal. I doubt they have new info but if they do they have to give the defense time to review.

I am so sick of all the attention this ridiculous young woman is getting the past couple of years. She thrives on it at the same time that she is destroyed by it. Geeze. I remember when this was all per the news in '08. 3 years later, and they haven't even selected a jury yet? Whatever happened to a fair and speedy trial?

I read somewhere that defense lawyers will delay a case as long as possible in hopes people will forget, or at least their emotions won't be so intense; thus, helping the defendant. I really don't think this strategy will work for tot mom. (I hate even using the word "mom" where she is concerned.)

There is no plea deal.........the crazies on tv were hard at work getting ratings yesterday when they should have been investigating why he left. He had a court date for today he had to go clear up.

I'm actually considering waiting in line to see if I can get in and watch a day of the trial. I can't remember how many regular citizens are allowed in, but I think they said get in line at 5am or something.

A normal parent doesn't go around for a whole month when their child is missing. If one of my children were missing for 5 minutes, I'd be calling the cops and the news and getting an amber alert issued. I'd be going fucking crazy, foaming at the mouth.
