Our Lady of Czestochowa (the Black Madonna) was soon made Queen and Protector of Poland. In 1920, Russians were invading Poland, when they saw an image of Our Lady in the clouds, and they withdrew on seeing the image.

Miraculous events such as spontaneous healings have occured for centuries on making pilgrimage to the portrait.

The painting is known as the Black Madonna because of the soot residue that discolors the painting. Centuries of votive lights and candles burning in front of the painting are the cause of the soot.

Indeed we do...but his true benevolence does not EVER equate to LAWLESSNESS...which is what is being preached today in pulpits the world over.

There are billboards that proclaim that you must choose BETWEEN Torah and Grace...that you cannot have both...but grace is not even required where there is no law...no transgression, no penalty, no need for benevolence.

it is not a choice between Law and Grace, but a choice between LawFUL or LawLESS.

Who, having been born again of his Spirit, willingly continues on in a sinful lifestyle?

Who, being born again of his Spirit, is not reproved and refined and pruned by their loving Father?

As it is written, the gifts and the calling are given without repentance. Those given By The Almighty.

So I imagine that the Father, who begins the work, will perform it and complete it in his children.

To me, that is good news. Very good news indeed.

And for that, I give much thanks to Jesus Christ for his great gift.
