(Words are limiting). But, yes, the spiritual freedom felt from being completely free to do as you wish is indescribable. However, growth in that environment can be limited. Freedom does not alway lead to growth. This is why we come here....... I am in search of Truth, but still emptying my cup. |

And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. 35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. 36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, 37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. 38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. 39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. |

I have always liked this line for one very wonderful reason. It depicts the fact that a man, which society deemed a criminal, would be going to the same paradise as Jesus. We all return to the Source (or paradise). Some of us just choose to make our paths a bit harder. I am in search of Truth, but still emptying my cup. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1377718 United States 05/11/2011 02:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So, according to a handful of people with "He is Risen" bumper-stickers, May 21st is when Jesus swings by Earth in his Holy Station Wagon and snags up all the people the bought his book. My question is this; With my Stepmom so sure that she will be riding shotgun with The Shepherd during this shindig, do you think it would be wise for my dad to start doing some crunches before he is back on the market? I would hate to see my old man having to sit in that big house all by himself once she is gone. What do you ladies think? Would it be so bad if he started shopping around before Jesus pulls up out front on the 21st and lays on the horn. It isn't really cheating if my Stepmom is so sure that she will be packing up her wind-breaker tennis suits and leaving my Dad behind in 10 days. Advice is appreciated. Quoting: ScrodiddlesHad to give ya all those, cause ur hilarious. Didn't even read the rest of the thread. And I'm one of those rapturetards, although not a May 21st one. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1359758 United States 05/11/2011 03:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think that not only should your dad start doing some crunches ... but that he also needs to get in some practice of going to the bars where the older classy social climbers hang out ahead of time and start buying some drinks for them. It takes a long time to get something going with those high class women because they are really really picky, generally about two weeks if he's got some money - though only a week if he's got lots of money, so if he just has some money and he starts in this week he will be hitting getting some action about a week after your mom leaves him. Once the action starts he should continue with E-Harmony since anything can happen at the age those older classy social climbers are. He will need at least a couple of extras to work with part time so that he can be grooming them to take the position of the one(s) he has found at the bar's place. Two main squeezes, plus a couple extra that he is ready to bring on board at a moment's notice, should both handle the immediate situation and provide sufficient "insurance" in the event things go wrong with one or more of the main squeezes. If he's got lots of money though he may want to up the numbers to three main squeezes plus three extras. |
