Breaking: Bomb threat in NYC, Lincoln Hospital

"yea, shes texting me but she said the place is locked down. they blocked the exits and wont let anyone out"

Oh how nice, a plane and now a hospital.

Nothing in the news about it. Lincoln is in the Bronx.

I'm an RN. We drilled for bomb threats regularly. Patients are NOT notified. No evacuations take place unless a major call is made by officials, so wouldn't unless a real bomb were found. Staff discretely search and report anything out of place but do not touch anything. Anything out of place is inspected by the official folks. Nothing was ever found when I was on duty.

This crap is total hush hush at the hospital usually. The announce the bomb threat in code that staff will know but the visitors and patients will not know what it means.

WNBC's @Jonathan4NY: Some apartments evacuated near suspicious vehicle outside Lincoln Hospital, NYPD's precautionary search ongoing.

It is real for sure. I read on twitter that they evacuated apartments near the vehicle with the explosives.

I would worry that this vehicle was made too obvious to draw the experts toward it, when a 2nd bad boy might be inside the hospital.

If there is a bomb threat wouldnt they try to evacuate everyone ASAP? How can they lock them all INSIDE?
