Anonymous Coward User ID: 76984449 United States 09/15/2020 08:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Big Daddy D COVID is real. Yes, we agree on that. It tends to affect the elderly & infirmed more so than younger folks, but as do most infections. That doesn't warrant shutting down the whole country, however. May be we change certain hours to assist elderly, but we've destroyed our economy, piled on a massive amount of additional debt, forced people to lose their jobs, their homes, etc. for what amounts to a super flu? It doesn't make sense why we are still on lock down. Idk the motivation behind it. My best guess is the government is trying to not overwhelm hospitals by letting small segments of population catch COVID at a time instead of everyone at once. Sweden & Belarus never shut down anything and COVID decimated their nursing homes. They had 5 times higher rate of elderly deaths from COVID than other countries near em. They need to study why Japan wasn't severely affected. Trump said w/o any lockdowns it would've been 1 to 2 million American deaths. When the government makes policy they estimate average life worth 6 to 7 million bucks. So an action costing more than 21 million wouldn't be passed if it saved just 2 ppl. Lots of wiggle room there of course like if the ppl are influential, but that's how the budget office views things. 1 million dead Americans would've been 800,000 more than we have from COVID now. 800,000 times $6 million is $4.8 trillion. That sorta evens out on what government has spent when this is done. The vast majority of said Americans who are dying are not working. In fact, it's sad to say this, they would have actually saved the country money because it would mean no longer paying social security or medicare for them. Hell my parents are 76 so they are right there in that line of fire. I don't say that lightly. But, it's not taking millions of working Americans out of the work force permanently. The NIH posted a study in 2018 that elderly individuals placed in care facilities died at a rate of 33% per year. COVID bumped that number up to 40% this year. Not an extreme jump but my point is simply, the elderly who make up the vast majority of these numbers were dying at a higher rate with or without COVID. Covid may have hastened the deaths of some (7%), but most of the folks placed in these facilities already had additional issues that were expediting their deaths. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov (secure)] That was actually one of the rumors as to why the virus may have been released in China due the aging population and the one child birth policies wasn't creating enough workers to replace the retiring Chinese and China was going to have a huge burden paying whatever is the equivalent to our social security. It's actually a sick thought, but I wouldn't put it passed the Chinese to do that. Does life only matter when it contributes to the economy? I can't get behind that notion cause most abortions are for economic reasons, and I hate that too. Life is life. America is starting to think too much like the Chinese in not valuing life. And yeah I wrote about that earlier being the reason China had COVID as an insurance card to wipe out old ppl. It's what I saw in remote viewing, but I think the release was accidental. To many people everything is about money. |

I agree with you that life is precious but the way this was handled was wrong. I'm simply saying 1) the economy shouldn't have been shut down as it's harmed more than the virus would have alone and 2) there are ways to protect the elderly without shutting down the economy. More drug overdoses, more suicides, more child molestations, more spousal/partner abuse all since the shutdown. More homelessness/foreclosures as well. The virus would otherwise burn itself out if we isolated those at risk without destroying the lives of everyone else in the process. Maybe it was damned if we do and damned if we don’t. People would be mad either way. |

Rituals on specific day in a specific hour to a specific sphere in order to help us with a specific thing that this said sphere or planet governs. So for example if I wanted a financial help I'd do a rite for Jupiter or rather the intelligence of it, "Sachiel" on a Thursday during the hour of Jupiter. It really hurt watching The Patriots get so unfairly treated for something that was the fault of one player and didn't even change the outcome of the game. Why does Kraft have to get so much crap for a handjob by a willing Asian woman. Not that bad considering what others have been rumoured of doing imo. The Patriots really lifted the spirits of the America when they won as underdogs against the Rams after 9/11. It's been lovely watching Cam "Black Superman" Newton returning to MVP form and I loved that celebration he did where he had his big White C spike the thing to celebrate that impressive sprint to the finish. It would be lovely to see him get a ring with the Pats, along with a few other veterans hungry to earn a Ring with Bill Belichick. Loving those Titans btw, lotta potential in that big RB Henry, not to mention that former New England Patriot Mike Vrabel, who really seems to have changed the culture for the better there :) Sports are important imo. I think sports are perhaps among the most powerful forms of art. So many become inspired by legendary sporting moments, whether it be 3-1 (NFL), 3-1 (NBA), 18-1, legendary 4th q comebacks, comeback player of the year stories, most improved player stories, simple yet profound acts of non-violent protest, many insightful and hilarious WWE, WWF, ECW moments, the list could go on and on. It's great to see turn arounds like Jimmy Butler. That story is so raw and inspiring. That Heat are looking like they'll give the Lakers a real tough time in the finals. Will be good to see how Alex Caruso matches up against that tough Heat D. Thank you for your consideration. |

Losing to the Giants after the team dedicated the game to his dead wife was rough. One of the worst feeling days of my life. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Then giving the Eagles their first trophy... I like Nick Fole - he really outplayed Belichick in that duel, but still. The way it ended was rough. Would be nice to see that talented young man Trevor Lawrence goes to a worthy team, with an O-Line and coaching stuff that will give him the support he deserves. Sad to see what the Jest have done with that team which was so great under Rex Ryan and Mark Sanchez. Those were some powerful Playoff moments. Really drills in the temporary nature of pain and pleasure and how it can be used to turn pain into Power like pre-SSJ II Vegeta. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Looking forward to a great action packed Playoffs with Legendary franchises and 1st Ballot Hall of Famers dueling in the Finals, hot touchdowns, swag celebrations, fair refereeing, reasonable fines, clear rules with up to date explanations of violations, no bountygate nonsense, better quality special teams play (some of those misses were tough to see, especially on opening day - I could do better than some of those guys and I've never even set foor in America. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] The kicking game in American Football has been unimpressive to say the least. With no wind and no fans, kickers have been missing easy ones recently. Cringeworthy stuff, it's not a pretty sight to see so many hot games decided by cold boots... There are probably women who own multiple cats or famished South American teenagers who could that could drill in some of the chippers missed tonight. |

This combines lives lost and economic damage into one number. The US government estimates a life worth about $7 million when making policy, and I'm going w/ that. If a disaster killed 3 ppl and cost $14 million it would equal out to killing 5 ppl on this scale. I realize it's more "doomy" when a famous person or someone from own country dies, but in the grand scheme of things it's not. This is as fair as I can think. Suggestions are welcome. Quoting: TheDarknessComes First number is the level of doom. What follows is how many lives were lost using the aforementioned formula. I've provided examples. 1 1 John Lennon murder 2 2-4 OJ Simpson murder case 3 5-10 Manson Family murders 4 11-50 Virginia Tech School Shooting 5 51-100 Silver Bridge Collapse USA 1967 6 101-500 Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 crash Ukraine 2014 7 501-1000 Jonestown Suicides 8 1001-5000 2014 Ebola Outbreak 9 5001-10,000 9/11 Terrorist Attacks 10 10,001-50,000 2003 Bam Iran Earthquake 11 50,001-100,000 2003 European Heat Wave 12 100,001-500,000 2010 Haiti Earthquake 13 500,001-1,000,000 1976 Tangshan earthquake 14 1,000,001-5,000,000 1975 Cambodian Genocide 15 5,000,001-10,000,000 Holocaust 16 10,000,001-50,000,000 World War I 17 50,000,001-100,000,000 World War 2 18 100,000,001-500,000,000 Bubonic Plague 19. 500,000,001-1,000,000,000 20. 1,000,000,000-10,000,000,000 1 million dead from COVID and estimates are $18 trillion loss to global economy. This places COVID as a level 14 disaster, and it will probably hit 15 before it's over. Meaning b/t the lives lost & economic damage it's on par w/ Holocaust. Going by the notion a life is worth $7 million, and $18 trillion lost from this COVID, that equals out to 2,571,428 "economic lives" lost vs 1 million real lives lost. Sunbathing for just a few minutes a day is enough to get sufficient vitamin D3. ~20-30 mins of quality sun for whites and 2-3 hours for blacks is enough for most. Exercising in the sun is even better. Being grounded (feet on grass or sand or water or dirt or wood) also helps with this.
