I'm not an ugly man and if I really wanted to all I'd have to do is walk to a bar and be myself. Talk to a few women and could go home with one of them. But I think that's what Christ meant about us picking up our cross, you know our sacrifice to god. Might not be sex, many people struggle with other things. But waiting until you meet someone you want to have sex and kids with, like I said I'm not a virgin. But I wish I would have waited until I found that special someone.

I would use the US Constitution to set up the government, and make it iron clad, unbreakable.

If you are going that route why not just completely eliminate the concept of fidelity where we don't belong to anyone in a legal document.

Agreed. Maybe review ownership of anything completely. I'm not saying it should be communist lead, but maybe we should share everything and not claim possessor of anything else other than maybe that what we just have put in our mouth.

Why settle for less? I know the fight in the US now seems to be constitution against socialist government. But I never understood that since it is ignoring the true big brother and our overlords which is a bunch of corporations and investment firms.
A new world would need to deal with that, not a future generation.
I think I would just not make corporations and government or a constitution.
We all need to defend each other with our own morals. And like I said, food and water are for free.

Well I think its important to make sure that when people start asking questions the answer is inside them. Emphasize prayer and meditation.

You do not have to work in a resource based economy as technology would do most of the jobs humans do today. It already has started that process.

Religion has survived everything thrown at it.

Everyone needs to believe that all the bad things that happen in a person's life are caused by a higher power.

And that THE HIGHEST power allows them to happen.

Well, people like emotional mystic stories about things they are scared for. And it can be used to tell people what to do. I would not allow religion in the form of religious institutions.

I don't know. As long as human beings fear death there will be "religion".

I consider myself a socialist, but most socialists think I'm a douche because I believe in freedom of religion. I believe anyone should be allowed to worship anything they want however they want...as long as they're not hurting anyone or themselves.

"As long as they're not hurting anyone or themselves" can be a bit of a gray area, yeah (the burqa-debate, for instance...)...but it's the best we have.

And it seems if someone is told they can't practice how the want- or is told to practice differently- the more they're going to believe their fight against you is pre-ordained and that God himself is on their side.

I think this is part of the reason many "Nibiru"-debates I get into on this site become so "vicious". Many (not all) of the "Nibiru"-believers are Christian Fundamentalists who believe "Nibiru" is prophecy. It's why they fight so hard. They think they're fighting for the word of God himself.

I'll say this though- in the course of that fight someone on "my" side suggested, hypothetically, that to finish the debate one and for all we should take away the "Nibiru"-believers' right to worship....I'd say "hell no".

There's no more vicious war than religious-war.

Some people would have it that way though. People have been trying to tell other people how/what/when to worship for centuries. Look at the Crusades. Look at the Reformation in England, ect...

I recall reading that one of the reason's Rome was as successful as it was for so long was when it conquered a "territory" it was very liberal as far as allowing the conquered peoples to worship as they wished.

Why create the fuss?

I don't know. The only thing I believe in is randomness and coincidence.
