We are validating our afterlives! Glory to God! You're being a rascal here but trust this: If God wants you, he will find you, whether you want him or not! If you want him, he'll have you. And that's that. |

Life and Love

Quoting: Life and Love I don't think the last 2,000 years of history supports your conclusion. All you have to do is compare the impact of Jesus on the world (even the irreligious world) vs. that of David Koresh to see you're on the wrong track. But thanks for contributing to the thread. Are you Serious!!!!!! 2,000 years of death and bloodshed all in the name of GOD as perceived by many. I think history supports his claim just fine.. No disrespect. I don't sense any disrespect. Yes, you are correct: lots of bloodshed in the name of God. But also a thousand times more not in the name of God. (Of course the name is available for anyone to use, whether he or she is following Jesus or not.) I suggest you read "Who is This Man?" by John Ortberg, which describes in non-religious terms the impact Jesus has had on society. [link to www.amazon.com] If nothing else, just read the reviews. All people should be smart and always keep minds open. This world we live in has too many unanswered questions. Looking to always seek the truth and ask questions is a good thing...you are entitled to your beliefs whatever that may be. Just pass that respect along to others that may not share your beliefs or vision. respect and peace to all I hope you feel that I have been that way with you. We become like that to which we are devoted. - Choose wisely. |

And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment.
