F.O.G.

I'm glad to see some activity here. I haven't been on GLP much lately; just lurking here/there a few times a month. Life has been active, and I'm working on getting set up in the mountains. Things are happening so fast. I had no plans on moving a year ago, but looks like I may be relocating in less than 2 months. It's all good moves.

In case you missed it, it seems NASA has new coordinates on TX68 near earth object. It was previously listed as 30 meters, at .004LD due on the 5th. Now it is listed as 38meters, 13LD, due to pass on the 8th of March. Crisis averted!

Not convinced...just sayin'

This particular asteroid has me concerned. Which doesn't mean anything, lol, but the uncertainty of it and the sudden change in approach distance just don't 'mesh' well with me.

And hopefully nothing is trailing behind it.

To answer his question as to why people aren't talking about 2016 EB1, I would guess that it's because it was just discovered 2 days prior to him uploading this video (which he uploaded 20 hours ago). It was discovered on March 1st. I didn't know about it until this video.

Which would also explain the condition code. Still one to watch!

Some things that I took note of while watching the video...

2016 EB1 was showing an estimated size of 23 m - 51 m during his video. Over the past 20 hours (when he uploaded his video) there's been an additional 3 observations. The estimated size has changed/increased to 31 m - 70 m.

Next was the number of asteroids added over the past 20 hours.

Close approach dates...

1 was added to today

1 added to March 7th

1 added to March 8th

1 added to March 10th

1 added to March 15th

yeah- saw that- I find it interesting that the NEO's are down. Also- last time I looked, they changed the data- but still haven't seen it since 2013...
