DOOM! THE GOVERNMENT KNOWS WHERE YOU'RE AT Creepy-changed address with post office, ALL my accounts changed without me telling them!!!!!

I wanted my mail forwarded for 90 days, not for the PO to notify everything and they just change it without asking!

Am I crazy for thinking this is odd?

Anything that is marked "address correction requested" will be sent back to the sender with your new address on it even if you elected for them to only transfer your mail.

THAT never happens. FAIL !

Teri I got everything I was expecting and none of it was marked with that. I even got a letter from my investment that formally stated my address was changed with them, and they are very strict about not making changes unless I request it.

Well I guess if anything was marked that way I would not have received it.

one last try

About six years ago I moved to a new place. Wrote a check for rent and deposit that had the old address on it the day I moved in. Went to the bank that very same day to get some cash. The lady said I had to fill out a change of address form.

Seems word travels fast.

"Generally, any commercial mail that would be sent to the old address would trigger a notification. First Class Mail, like a utility bill, would be sent on to you but the sender would have requested a notification.

After 12 months, no mail would be forwarded to you but would be returned to the sender with your new address information.

In very rare cases is any sort of Bulk Business mail forwarded and Periodicals (magazines) are only forwarded for 60 days. After that, the publisher is notified of the new address, and you would have lost an issue off your subscription."

my wife bought a trac phone with cash...activated with the automated system by putting in the number of the phone and the number of the first set up of minutes...no personal information at all. several months later, she got a text which her happy birthday from Trac on her birthday.....she was freaked out about it...

not sure how the got that info. the only thing i can think of is that she used her debit card to buy a subsequent minutes card and they used the card number or something to pull her personal information...

there is nothing private once you're in the matrix....

If you look on the envelopes most of your companies send you...you'll see that THEY request a notice of change of address...and they pay for it to.

wow. I knew I was in the matrix but I didn't know how crazy it had become. Maybe I should reconsider walking away from it all. Thanks for all the input everyone!

I have this happen every time i take a job in another state. When ever i forward my mail damn near every co i do business with even my bank ends up changing my damn address. its a pain in the ass.
They mark all their letters to notify forward or change of address. Every time i come home i have to change all the fucking addresses back.

Efficiency... would you like to submit it 8 times?
