Thing´s are a-changin´--
I remember in 1977 as a junior in High School after winning the Detroit area Battle of the Bands I held an open house Party-- a Kegger in the huge backyard of a house of a friend on a mansion row street in Grosse Pointe--
-- 1000 kids showed up and although the police showed up they never shut us down.
We had full stacks of amplification and I had a full wrap around set of drums. We jammed full bore for at least a couple of hours right there in the most conservatively affluent neighborhood in the midwest at the time-- and yes-- it was a kegger with beer on tap and the cops let us party in the yard-- private property rules!--{ at least it DID! }
These kids should have been left alone!
They were in a semi secluded canyon on PRIVATE PROPERTY no less--
This is gonna be a pressure cooker...
