Sorry, you will be glowing like mad if your water has radiation in it. It becomes part of the water, it's not like dirt or heavy metal there is no way to filter radiation out.

I found the Seychelle Environmental Technologies Fliptop with Radiological Radiation Filter Water Bottle 28oz. at Nature'sAlternatives.com at [link to www.naturesalternatives.com] .

The filter removes 100% of Gross Beta, Radium 226, Uranium, Cesium 137, Strontium, Plutonium, Radioactive Iodine 131, and Radon 222.

I was looking at that Radiation filter at Nature's Alternatives and found that they now have another filter called the Seychelle Extreme filter that filters radiation along with bacteria, viruses, and parasites. It's at [link to www.naturesalternatives.com]

Re: SERIOUS QUESTION. ... Does a water filter remove radiation from water?
Is there a water filter available that will remove radiation from drinking water?

tomato

you know specific radionuclides from fuc'R'shima ,compare it to filter parameters .I think for example that plutonium will be captured by filter removing lead /activated carbon/but regarding cesium and xenon maybe addition of reverse osmosis is needed
I'd worry about plutonium though...Gossip is that even few atoms may cause cancer

You will drink your radiation, and you will like it...but distilling would be your best bet...

I know you can buy distilled water, but how does one do that at home, Brief?

Drill hole in old pressure cooker. Drill hole insert loop copper tubing. Attach with pressure fitting. Fill with water, boil, steam comes out copper end of tubing. Distilled.
