Open Mind 08/18/2005 09:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was told as I left work today that there is a truck drivers strike going on. The guy advised me to get gas while I still could.
My wife was also told today at her doctors.
Apparently gas is supposed to go up to $5/gallon. So truck drivers are striking. I was told, but have not seen myself, that some local counties are already out of gas.
If this is real and it continues, there will be lots of problems real soon.

I have been watching the TV for any news, but nothing. Strange though that both my wife and myself were told the same thing today.
We are in Tennessee, if it makes any difference.

Executor 12/08/2005 10:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Re: Truck driverīs strike? These rumors hit Alabama last week and caused a big run on gas. Some stations actually pumped dry. Wouldnīt suprise me if it were the petrol companys starting the rumors to boost sales. |

Slim 12/08/2005 10:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Re: Truck driverīs strike? I think most drivers of those big long tractor trailer truck own their own trucks. That might be how they can pull this off. They have to make a profit and the price of gas is eating into their pocket,,,,maybe. |

What do the truck drivers propose the people who employee them do about the cost of gas?
