IF the stock markets open. 3 points first point short term all nuke/japan stocks will take a hit as the headless chickens do their thang. But they will recover longer term (it's perhaps inevitable given the amount of money that will be sunk into a recovery effort following this tsunami). second point bear in mind the fukushima plant is an old plant with old designs, current nuke plant designs have 40+ years of D&D on this facility. third point hopefully this will wake governments up to the catastrophically stupid concept of putting nuclear plants in earthquake zones. |
