But for the muslims it was not about race it was about religion and that's why most of the Jews lived when they converted to Islam, by force of course. Same with the original Persians who were Zoroastrians. In fact the Arabs, the first muslims, were of the same Semitic race as the Jews, so no racial genocide there. In fact the Persians were of a different race, which was the Aryan race.

Yes exactly, unfortunately they have nobody to answer to either, so they kill and torture their own people.

But who is going to use force against them? It will destabilize the whole region into World War III.

It is a difficult situation. The people don't believe they have the power to overthrow their government, they tried several times and were attacked, killed, executed, imprisoned.

The problem is that the people cannot get their hands on arms.

Also, the average Iranians life is not as poverty stricken as people in Egypt, so they have less incentive and more to lose by risking their lives to pour into the streets by the millions.

The Iranian government is much more fear based than the Egyptian one was. Mubarak was a pussy compared to the Mullahs in Iran, they are very vicious!

I was talking about Persians whining about being victimized by the muslims over a millennium ago. A lot of educated Persians dislike Islam, and many of them accept Islam as a smaller part of their lives, and the majority would not like Islam to be the form of their governance, especially now that they have experienced it for 30 some years. But it has been ingrained into their culture for over a thousand years, there is no escaping it, easily anyway.

But I hope they can change their government for the better soon.
