Is oxygen in water affected by magnetism, maybe the ocean is suffocating the fish, so their going crazy swimming in all directions, crowding at the shore and shallower locations just to get oxygen, which obviously doesn't work well.
& as for the birds, if they fly with the magnetic fields etc, when those shift around under all the pressure and changes, they're obviously getting disoriented and killing themselves that way as well. its not like many mammals etc are dropping dead, just sea & air.
