I must remove the word Bless from my vocabulary immediately !
An AC here at GLP mentioned the word Bless means to sprinkle blood on something.
Well... I went a googling...

O. M. G.

Origin of the word Bless:

Strictly speaking, there is no Greek meaning of the word 'blessed'. The word 'blessed' comes from a German word 'bletsian' meaning 'blood' - the reference being back to Old Testament sacrifices.

The English-speaking church chose to use the word 'bless' as a translation for the Greek 'eulogeitos', the meaning of which is explained below. This Greek word actually provides the English word 'eulogy'. 'eu' means 'good' and 'logy' means word - hence the meaning of eulogy is literally 'a good word'.

A better word to remove is "Amen"
As long as we exist within duality and separate ourselves from our higher consciousness, forever believing that the creator is the ultimate authority in the universe and that we cannot ever be a part of that creative process so that we must always rely on something above us we will be forever trapped within and never transcend this dimension. I am a human spiritual being and I am united with fellow human beings that are unjustly treated. This truth should be self evident.

Re: I must remove the word Bless from my vocabulary immediately !
The term Bless could reference blood because it is describing the holy blood of the ultimate sacrifice, Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus saves. However, I see your point. I also do not like to use the word God because it is a word that derives from a word from the ancient Gothic tradition meaning the Pope. When people say they worship "God," they are saying that they worship the Pope without realizing it. I say that I worship the Most High and the Ultimate Creator.
