Perfect for the backpack, and I believe it even floats when stored. Can't go wrong with a .22 if you don't have one. Quoting: <FOCUS> 660580Yes that's the one. And yes it does float apparently. SDM |

Maybe the new Henry's are more accurate.. It's picky about ammo, jams every 5th shot.. but! Everyone who sees it immediately loves it, it does breakdown easily and nicely.. The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. |

If you remember to continually tighten the barrel nut after every few shots its ok. The Kel-Tec Sub-2000 is sooooo much cooler and more effective. The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. |

They seem small and handy, anyone own one? Quoting: SickDaveMondoSDM You might want to look at the Marlin "Papoose", it doesn't float but it does break down. The Henry AR7 is known to have feeding issues and be finicky with ammo brands/types. [link to www.gunsandammo.com] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 53618 Canada 02/09/2011 10:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Since Canada has such ridiculous gun laws, I guess a pistol is out of the question. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 257017Pistols (barrel length greater than 4") are legal with the correct license (2-day easy course), however carrying them is not. You can only take your handgun from your home to the shooting range/club listed on your "Authorization to Transport (ATT)" form which you get once you become a member of a shooting club. If you need to transport the pistol to a different range (for a competition, etc.) or gunsmith, etc. you need to call in and inform the chief firearms officer of the date(s) and locations. No carry or discharge is permitted outside of a proper shooting range. Yes, that also means that it's technically illegal to shoot a handgun on your own property, no matter how remote said property is. Sucks, but I guess it's better than no handguns at all like in the UK. if TSHTF no-one will be checking licenses and ATT forms lol. |

[link to www.gunsandammo.com] The Papoose is another I was looking at. I like the self contained ability of the AR7 though. I do a lot of canoeing, might be nice to have something that I can get wet. Quoting: SickDaveMondoSDM No issues, but I always put 1 tiny drop of loctite on the barrel when I shoot it. I bought extended mags for it, and have no feed jams. I did mod the receiver a bit though. It is hollywood quiet with subsonic hollowpoints, one of the keys to E&E.. "Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible."
