Thank you for validating my concern about cellphones and especially cellphone towers. Just looking at the heavy-duty fencing and what appears to be generators at each one, plus an understanding of what certain frequencies and microwaves can do to these fragile bags of water (our bodies) has raised my alarm since seeing them march up the valley, one by one, like ominous dark sentinels.

I had an unpleasant experience while close to one of the bigger ones in town. If it was what I think it was...it will be a simple thing to control a lot of people at a time.

Thank goodness I don't have any close by, and my property has poor reception of signal. I'll lived with inconveniece of dropped calls.

Now, my question for you...

So if natural disaster or TSHTF in my area...and it does have the potential for both (volcanoes, earthquakes, strategic dams and water supply, etc.) is there anyone I can trust, any military groups, that may come to service the area?

Forget FEMA, they can steer clear of my property, but can anyone be trusted in this day and age?

How best can a person intent on staying put through thick and thin, and prepared as best as they can, deal with any authority that comes into a community to establish a presence?

My property is surrounded on three sides with open fields, foothills and pastures. On one side I have friendly neighbors, we have established a loose network of watchfulness at this point, with a concern for the future.

One neighbor is well-armed and has his own shooting range, the others are great networkers and have lots of contacts with other people. There is a heavy equipment shop close by with knowledgeable people who can repair things and wield big excavators and road equipment. We haven't established close contact with any of the other households in the area, yet.

There is plenty of arable land if we can get the water.

I have some weapons, but no rifle. I am a good shot, though.

For me, a middle-aged woman with two teen-age relatives and an aging mother, I've prepared as best as I could. Losing my decades-long job a couple of years ago didn't help with the funds for preparations, but I've put good use to the time and I've done a good job with what I could; generators, fuel, modest stockpile of food and the ability to grow my own food after that.

I have already set a scenario for night patrols and general protection, considered the blind spots, the property is fenced and cross fenced with field wire and barbed wire. Electric fencing would be easy to install as well, but that would mean running generators at night. We could block the two ends of the dirt road as well.

I plan on giving it my best effort, anyway.

Dig a big hole to put your generators in that way the sound travels up and not out. A generator in a 6 foot hole is almost impossible to hear 500 feet away.

I knew there must be a good reason why I had a six foot pond dug and then run out of money to finish it. Nice, sturdy eyesore that has not caved in after a couple of years of record rainfall.

Providence has a way of making tasty lemonade with a few sour fruit lying around.

I live in Colorado and have noticed you mentioning if SHTF Colorado would be a good place to hide out. May I ask why you pick Colorado? And where in Colorado you would think is safe?

I believe I read a post of yours yesterday where you stated that eventually Colorado will be the location of the Capital of the United States. I found your reasoning interesting.

Also you briefly mentioned Cheyenne Mountain in regards to genetic experiments, I believe. Can you give us more information about Cheyenne Mountain? I know it was redesigned about 5 years ago.

I found it curious; before it was redesigned, there were no highway directional signs for the turn-off to the facility, but once it was redesigned it had several directional signs posted pointing to the exit road up the mountain to the facility.

Would Cheyenne Mountain be a target if international SHTF problems erupted? If so what would be the radius of the kill zone (those affected by the blast).

Another poster named Walt who claims to be ex-illumanati said Denver Colorado was a very bad place. Quoting him: “There are underground research facilities in Colorado where the government is conducting research on how to massively control population. They are testing it on the citizens of Denver, CO.”

Can you confirm or deny his claim? What other things about Colorado should we know?

I dunno man. I do know 9MM's hold 15 in the clip and one in the spout. If I was going to go blasting people I would squeeze off 15 rounds and change clips with one still in the spout so I don't have to rack it back again. 3 clips is 46 shots. You'd be surprised what one person can do with one handgun if they know how to deploy it.

(I'm aware of innocent until proven guilty before I say this)...
