I totally nuked my mail... OH, and I also worked at an ad agency and I got my boss all paranoid. We got a package from someone we didn't know with our address c/o Los Angeles Times - we nuked it. It was a thank you gift from a client and the LA Times mention was a mistake. It used to be European chocolate and 2 gift certificates (1 for me and 1 for the boss) to Burke Williams spa...

Not really. I remember when the words polio, scarlet fever, german measles (in pregnant women),ect. Terrified parents. I'm even old enough to remember a great-grandmother of mine that had big pock marks from small-pox. There was a sanitoriom (sp) on the outskirts of our town that housed tuberculosis victims. (My aunt Ruby died there). Had another aunt that died of "sugar", back then diabetes was pretty much a death sentance....I dunno BIB. It all seems what our perspective is....My take on it is that life causes death, if that makes sense. A sense of humor is imperitive for every generation IMO. Even if it's gallows humor.
