If you followed news outside US propaganda you would know that a short time ago the Muslim people of Egypt surrounded Christians to protect them from radical Muslims. They are not a violent people, they have just stopped being sheeple like Americans and are taking a stand to try and have a trus democracy.

After failing to find "weapons of mass destruction" in Iraq the US tried to sell the world on how its aim was to bring democracy to Iraq. How the hell does that square with giving 1.5 billion of US tax dollars to a dictatorship that favours Israel.

They will be run by some hardline Muslim clerics. They will become much like Iran is today. They will be trading one form of dictatorship for another.

One last point of clarification. Anwar Sadat of Egypt made peace with Israel before he was murdered. This was probably the only positive thing Carter did. Egypt not being insane with blood lust toward Israel for the last 30 years was probably one of the few things that kept the middle east from spiraling out of control. Now, that stabilization will be gone.
