If you are from the Dakotas or Minnesota you probably speak funny.
Quoting: m_asteraMinnesota...nnnn...yea...a little..! The point is to have a "Cosmopolitin Accent". I live in the Greater DFW metroplex, and do not have a "detectable accent'. I have also lived in The PAC NW..Washington area. People often ask.. "where are you from"...my reply "why, do I have an accent"? Their response is simply "no..thats why I asked". Interesting isn't it?
