PSP is way cooler than a stupid IPOD....plus you don't need Itunes software...with the PSP its all just "drag and drop". Nothing but simplicity.

This psp would be one of the most suffisticated handheld devices ever created. With a computing power of a small PC and an enormous graphics power.

The question is not why this is pinned, but why care so much that it's pinned. I would have just skipped over it if I didn't care. This is just some site on the internet that happens to have a system that pins posts, rather than a decision that affects you daily life.

How would it be a pioneer for the rest? Computers get more powerful month after month after month. Nothing is being pioneered here. Nothing was invented here. It's the same old same old, a new handheld that's more powerful than the 6 year old handheld that it's replacing.

It looks like they are doing away with the Cartridge, which was the slow bottleneck of the system. Most circumvented that with custom firmware which allowed games to be copied directly to the flash drive. I bet that this new psp will have great copy protection on it...

This is badass. But of course the ps3 is an 8 core so this seems natural. What really raises my eyebrow is a quadcore video card. That itself is revolutionary. I can only imagine having two of those in a pc in sli mode and a new 8 core amd bulldozer at like 3.6 ghz. Throw in a 512 gigabyte solid state hdd and 16 gbs or ram and you would have some serious fuckin pc firepower.

Based on what I have seen with pc gaming I am gonna say yes because while your processor helps a lot it is really the video card that makes games come to life in high frame rates. So 4 core cpu and 4 core gpu VS an 8 core/cell chip? Yeah its got it.

But the REAL question is if they are doing this to PSP what the hell does the PS3 have lying under the hood? And for how much money will it cost? We know the Ps3 was 600 dollars when it dropped.
