What was the trick in the SOTU

Well, the whole thing was probably a well thought out trick. But I noticed a big one later on. What was the trick in the beginning of it?

Was it the U.S. is still the biggest and most prosperous economy in the world? My immediate thought was yes and probably true for the elite but not for you and I.

The "trick" I saw later was with the spending cuts and deregulations for business. I think he knows Repubs will probably get this done somewhat in the next two years with or without him. So he proclaimed this to be his program so he can take all the credit for it in 2012.

Beginning at exactly...well... the first words he uttered, in combination with odd body language.

Obama says, "Mr. Speaker", then nods in Biden's direction. He then says, "Mr. Vice President", then nods in Boehner's direction.

He couldn't make it 1.5 seconds before screwing up.
