I just talked with his daughter, Kathy. She said he still had a breathing tube down his throat which the docs were hoping to remove 6 hours after surgery. He was awake briefly, but was getting agitated because he was trying to tell them something, but couldn't be understood. They put him back under. Something about his lungs not exchanging oxygen properly. I'm not a doctor, can anyone help me out, here?

Yet, 95% clogging of arteries does not necessarily mean 95% less blood flow. The body does amazing things, it forms small blood vessels that go around the obstructions in the main arteries.

Things are looking better. The breathing tube should come out tomorrow and they expect to have him sitting up and fully awake. They put him under so he doesn't do any damage to himself over night. His vitals are looking good at this time.

I believe his prognosis is looking better thanks to you guys. The power of GLP is not to be underestimated. I thank all of you so very much! Peace out. The Beef.

On a postive note, a family friend had the same surgery many years ago, and afterwards he did exactly what the doctors told him to do and he continued living a very active life for almost 20 years I think it was.
