In my utopian fantasy land in my head, I am really anti-gun. Its an outdated tool of unenlightend souls.

But if anyone thinks its a good idea to give up guns, and or weapons at this point in history, really lives with thier head in the sand. Pains my heart to think we are so past "that point", that there really is no point anymore. Keep up the good fight... but the division has be so ingrained in our minds, that ultimently, noone wins.

The fact is that the american gouverment has made the american people so scared for basicly everything, so people buy guns and think they will protect them, But the true fact is that even if you own a 44 magnum, if the military or the cops want to nail your ass, that gun wont protect anyone.

Ive lived in united states for some years and the one thing that i noticed is that you americans, you are shitscared for everything, if its not terrorist its the cops, if its not the cops its the gangbangers, if it not them its something else.

They feed you shitfood and you grow bigger and bigger, they encourage people to be fat just because if they told them to do something about it,they will be sued.

I mean comeon, you can tell people not to smoke cause it kills you but you cant tell a really fat dude that he should not sit in a fucking electric wheelchair and have a assitant takeing down his food from the shelf.

When i saw that i was like "what the fuck, this dude is so fucking fat that he gets a dude from the store to do his shoping, all he has to do is point and make some god damn goblin sound"

If it was me i would just tell that fat bastard to get up from his ass if he wanted to shop, if not he could starve for a mounth because it would most likely make him only good.

But yeah back to the point... guns are just the american illusion of safety, there is no safety in them.

Arm yourself with knowledge instead how to blend into the masses, how to suvive without any food and money....

yeah, life was much better in the stone age when your adversary bashed your head in with a rock or club. Human nature is to compete. When assets get thin, human nature is greed. No bomb will stop that.

I understand what you are saying, but you need to study History more. Equating a lack of guns with a utopia is a misnomer. Humans have and will devise methods and implementations to kill. In fact, it is easier to kill a Human without the use of a gun. When I say easier, I mean it literally.

1. Your victim does not see you as a threat when you approach.

2. There is little evidence left when a gun is NOT employed. Gun powder residue is very hard to remove from victim and self. Obviously a gun garners alot of attention from the surrounding public at large, even if suppressed.

3. Crime lab forensic specialist have perfecting bullet/casing matching techniques.

4. Its just bloody, the more blood, the less likely one is able to get away with killing someone.

I can go on, but your solution to bring about a utopia is flawed, and is just about guns. The only way to insure this utopia is achieved is to cut off everyone's hands, because 'in the trade' the only weapon is the hands. It is the most used and effective.

In combat guns are used primarily as fire suppression. That is it. Grenades and mortar rounds are more effective for mass casualties.

If it is guns, then next it will be knifes. After knifes will be anyone's guess.

I lived in South Africa for some time. The organized crime rate is very high there. Car jackings are the norm. You can own a gun, but the laws on shooting someone are so strict that no one dares use a gun. The criminals do what they want because of this. We had a person come into our house one night. They got in through the garage door. The only thing I had was a baseball bat to protect my family with. Im sure they were armed, as they always are. These People for whatever reason decided to leave.

I have two children and a wife. If they had continued they would have killed me, rapped my wife, and probably rapped my children as well.

It is very easy to make a gun, does not take much skill or machining.

Since making a gun is so easy, then what is your solution in dealing with criminals that will do such things if in fact guns are removed from Society?
