"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its own victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than omnipotent moral busy-bodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." -- C.S. Saves as wave only, I think. It's good for making bit perfect copies of CDs/tracks, waveform modification. Convert to just about anything with Audio Converter. Both are freeware. No strings attached. |

Plus it's got some good filters to clean up the sound if recording from LP or tape. I've used it to record several hundred LPs now and it's by far the best of what I've tried. |

User ID: 2620637 Australia 10/04/2011 06:22 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | As a bassplayer I would like to isolate the bass lines in a recording. Is there a program out there that can do that? It would help me with my practice. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1235314 In one word,No just use your EQ in your software/hardware and isolate the the low end which is well defined - around 30 Hz for a 5-string bass tuned to standard pitch, around 40 Hz for a 4-string bass tuned to standard pitch. Political correctness without wisdom, is just Political nonsense. |
