~Birds that are not supposed to be in my area - ARE here!~
Another odd bird mystery...they are not dead or anything, but they reminded me of the bees being 20 miles off course. Why are all these animals "off course"? They have been doing this bird count for over 100 years (This year was the 111st time they did it.) and they had never seen these geese here!

"However, in the southeast reaches of the count area, a group of three birders spotted three greater white-fronted geese, mixed among a couple of hundred Canada geese.

“That’s pretty rare,” Hanneman said. “They are an Arctic breeder, and they are very common out West, but they typically don’t get much farther east than the Mississippi.”

Hanneman said he’s confident that the identification was correct.

“It’s the first I’ve heard of them on one of (the Ashtabula County) counts,” Hanneman said."

Morning Mary. hf

Maybe they have started moving into this area. It happens.

Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support!

Morning Hickory! hf

Yes, this could be true! I just thought it was odd that they have never come East beyond the Mississippi River. Maybe we are the new Arctic!

Heard a bird chirping in my front yard on Sunday. Wife even looked at me and said that it sounds like spring out there. I'm in Central Jersey. Honestly even sounds like baby birds in a nest.

speaking of birds. some dude was shooting birds in traffic yesterday. he kept using his horn like a birdcall. then other birds started showing up. i counted at least 4 of these birds at that particular intersection.
