It all sounds good on the surface but you know, all my life, nobody has really cared about me, except my family, so I don't know about this ripple effect. I guess I should say, no one has really cared about me in any way that is meaningful, that would help me to put food on my table or give me shelter or go to bat for me (I recall one good one from my childhood) or bandage my wounds. For the most part, we're all on our own kids. There's no global conscienceness, there's just you, the elements, your needs and your particular little tribe. Other than that, it ain't happening.
