I like how it goes from saying;

"After reports of mysterious mass animal deaths around the planet, photos of a fierce volcanic eruption might confirm that the end of the world is nigh."

to

"are merely a chance to revel in the awesome power of nature rather than a reason to start stocking up on canned goods."

I really like how they take a rather casual style to the entire thing and subtly insert a suggestion about not stocking up - something not even relevant to the point being made.

Yeah. Don't stock up on goods(!)

Any other golden advice from the mail? - The same newspaper to have articles where the article writers complain about not making enough money.
