 He'll be out of contact except by mail for almost a year - being sent into deep country with no electricity or personal phone or Internet access. Please send your prayers.  They might just be saying this for now. my cousin went, and they sent him deep in the mountains, only way in/out was by helicopter. After he was settled in he sent email, and posted pictures on FB once or sometimes twice a month. He said they dropped supplies once a month.
