He doesn't want out - he's career military - planning on college after this tour, then officer training and aiming for General someday.

He joined to make a difference - not because of finances or because he supports the war or because he wants to shoot people and blow things up.



Whether he supports the war or doesn't, whether he wants to stay in or get out...doesn't matter. From one mom to another I pray your son comes home safe and you are able to hug him again. That is all that matters.



i agree with the sentiments of all of these statements unfortunatley its a shame that during his carrer other mothers and fatehrs will lose their children because of him and his superiors and most of the deaths will have nothing to do with the war

so i lack in finding sympathy for people who think its ok to take the lives of others irrespective of your reasons

and we all know most of those reasons are completeley unfounded
