they care about him about as much as we all care about each other.

Too bad he didnt have stronger family support and friends.

I think if he had this he would not have done himself in...

that's why I do not go asking for friends.......I let them come to me and if I think they aren't on the up and up they go bye bye.........

What is tragic, when Alviss updated his last status, there are 240 people "liking" his cry for help. They can click the "like" symbol but they just don't care!

His death and the tragic circumstances surrounding it is a portrait of today's interaction and fake/ignorant friendship one wishes to acquire from a social networking site. It's simply ignorance at its best.

His status updates were his pleas and cry for help, but nobody cares enough to make sure the guy didn't do it. Pathetic.

You should watch the Asian Horror Movie called the Suicide Club, it's quite freaky, and sometimes bloody.

I watched the youtube link..that is SICK & twisted.

But..an acquaintance from Japan once told me that, during his daily commuting in Tokyo using public train..there were odd days when the train would suddenly stop after a small shocking "grind" on something bumpy and there is a slight cracking sound..passengers will get a bit shock...because they know..it's another suicide.

But it's not in huge groups like in the movie..usually one or two people..jumping in front of the train. That's the reality in Japan.

It's not the Facebook itself but the people in general losing their sincerity towards each other. People just stop caring about their own "friends". There is no real friendship it seems, or it becomes rare. Everything is only superficial.

I feel bad for the family, but suicidals are a waste of life.

They were showing concern. They just didn't know what he meant.

People have always been seriously superficial and it takes the likes of facebook to show you?

If ONE person had known that boy for who he really was he would not have killed himself...NO ONE knew him

Nearly everyone needs to be validated as an individual or they feel dead inside and life is not worth living.

It's a shame he never found GLP...he probably felt like an outcast, he obviously didn't "fit in".

I agree with Rico, he was weak.
