Bandanas have multi uses...water filtration, sun protection, wind protection, concealment...could even be used as a weapon. Learned this from Dual Survivor. Love that show. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 867669That is something I need to pick up for sure. I'm guessing a nylon/polyester or something would be better than cotton? SDM |

It also dries quickly. Get one of each...cotton and nylon. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 867669Nah, probably not unless I took almost everything out. I keep a few in my other gear though. SDM Last Edited by SickDaveMondo on 01/05/2011 11:00 PM |

Here is what I have in it so far... Quoting: SickDaveMondoLansky shapening stone Swiss steel and striker ~12 feet of snare wire ~40 feet of 10lb test fishing line 12 small hooks 12 small split shot sinkers several safety pins 2 feet of tinfoil razor blade 4 bandaids Keeping in mind this all has to fit in an Altoids tin(exact size of the pouch on the sheath), any ideas on something small and usefull to add? It's pretty full, I'd probably have to remove something to add something. Thanks. SDM no toothbrush, scissor, comb? dang are you british? |

That could be used to contain water...not very big, but you want compact. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 867669I was thinking H2O, as well. I have a case of small 4oz. water packets that I purchased online. Nice size for stashing/packing. |

One side is a sharp blade and the other a jagged saw. The sheath has 3 yards of parachord. It's awesome! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 867669Wow, that sounds cool. Did you make it or buy it? Link for more info. Thanks. A few people that I talk with have been throwing around whether cyanide, mercury, or hemlock belongs in the kit. |
