Re: Oil eating bacteria is now eating steel from the Gulf disaster
Is it not mentioned in Revelations that the sea turned to blood (chlorophyll dying off), and all the fish died. Maybe the Bacteria is eating EVERYTHING IN THE WATER...

That is a highly possible scenario because did they have the foresite to make the bacteria differeniate between fish oil (in the fish's skin) and well oil - from a oil wellhead?

I highly doubt this bacteria can make this distinction. The BP Oil lying on the bottom of the ocean will make the bacteria multiply enough that depending on how long it can stay dormant and ride the currents of water - it should kill any mammal or fish in the water that presents a eating target for the bacteria.

Oh, come on...I was just down there in Florida and everyone there swears that there is not even any more oil in the Gulf. Instead we have some kind of oil eating bacteria? Eating what oil?

(Yes, I know that the MSM down there has probably brainwashed everyone into believing that there is no more oil.)

I think that's actually corexit. The current model of our government for those not paying attention is to deny the truth, and push lies. Why lie about this? Using Corexit is when the boats hulls started getting eaten through. Using a bacteria that has been proven safe, then destroying that reputation would only be par for the course.

Prove anything but the substance banned by most western countries (corexit) is bad. Simple misdirection.

Many of us think we know truly how bad it would be should there be a steel eating bacteria in the Worlds Oceans.

But many of us don't realize what is in the Oceans sealed with steel.

Radioactive material, some of which is HIGHLY radioactive from military research.

Extremely dangerous biologicals and chemicals

Bioweapons too dangerous to store above ground.

Abandoned Nuclear weapons

and the worst of all, ships which make international trade possible.

It woould be MEGA DOOM for sure.

Bullcrap. What Venter did was take already existing strands of DNA, combined them, placed them in an already existing bacteria, thus converting it to a new strain. He hasn't created a genome from scratch. That's my understanding of it, waiting for corrections if needed.

Reminds me of the "I was in the Illuminati and I am going to tell all thread" for some reason. Walt says microbes going into the brain on that one.

The further we stray from our naturalistic life the more damage we do. I read about the Titanic. I think they are saying it will be totally gone, there is nothing they can do because of bacteria they found eating away at it.

Guess we will all have to speak up even more against vaccines this year.

Did anyone else think of the remake of the movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still"? Remember those swarms of replicating steel/matter eating microbes that are unleashed on the earth at the end?

Am i the first one who says that the Bezerkers could be right?

Btw its not good to expose such a bacteria to nuclear and/or biohazardous stuff

It could get worse and combine with flesh eating bacterias....

There was a very interesting documentry on the discovery channel last night, called the Rise of the jellyfish. It seems jellyfish eggs lie dormant for many years, waiting for the right conditions to hatch. When they do hatch, it can be billions at a time. The right conditions for them to hatch, are dead zones. There are 150 dead zones across the planet, and I predict within 5 years or less, the gulf will become a dead zone, and the canary in the coal mine will be jellyfish. While the gulf does have many jellyfish, and a main dead zone is already where the Mississippi meets the gulf. When you can't fish the gulf because all you are catching is jellyfish, the end is near.
