*** "PERTH - AUSTRALIA" A NUCLEAR TARGET -Time Jump Back To 1980
[link to www.brisbanetimes.com.au]

Perth could face increased risk of Soviet nuclear attack under plans to allow US warships to be based in Australia, cabinet documents for 1980 reveal.

But the then Defence Minister Jim Killen had earlier told parliament that Australia, a strong US ally, was likely to be a nuclear target in any case.

Cabinet papers - released by the National Archives of Australia under the 30-year rule - show how the government of Malcolm Fraser moved to expand the Australian Defence Force (ADF) as a response to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in December 1979.

That expansion included explicit offers to the US to home-port US Navy warships at the Australian naval base at Cockburn Sound, Western Australia.

There's always an Arquillian Battle Cruiser, or a Corillian Death Ray, or an intergalactic plague that is about to wipe out all life on this miserable little planet, and the only way these people can get on with their happy lives is that they DO NOT KNOW ABOUT IT!

Re: *** "PERTH - AUSTRALIA" A NUCLEAR TARGET -Time Jump Back To 1980
acolyte, what happened to the chani me tel u now thread from your pov? people gave up because they were too attached to the 'having to give a year' notion imo. all things could happen in diff years...

is putin going to disappear after entering some kind of underwater pyramid perhaps? i know russia has studied the effects and purposes of pyramids. wilcock has covered this in his lectures.

i also have to constantly get reminded to fill up my car with petrol. i have an aversion to it. it doesnt make sense to me that in 2012 we put oil into a vehicle. i think that unleaded petrol is poisoned and my higher self has an aversion to it?

As of now, these are the main US bases and facilities in OZ. These do not include JVs with Australian territory such as Antarctica and other islands considered Australian territory.

A. Alice Springs Pine Gap is really about three facilities employing 750 to 1,000 US and Australian personnel
1. a) the Singint collecting
2. b) the DSP and now star wars bases
3. c) the photographic section
4. d) the seismic station in Alice Springs itself
5. e) the town facility -see the web site. It is huge!
B. North West Cape This base is largely in mothballs but can activated by the US at any time it deems necessary.
5. a) the communication towers
6. b) the Solar observatory run by the US airforce
C. Seismic Stations
7.Mundaring WA
8. Hobart TAS
9. Sydney NSW
10. Charters Towers Qld
11 Daly Waters NT
12. Tennant Creek
D. Weather
13. Mildura
14. There is another one near Wagga Wagga but cannot confirm.

This list does not also include the US embassy in Canberra. A few of these bases are considered absolute US sovereign territory.

Given the recent agreement on the posting of large numbers of marines and soldiers in Darwin, and its proximity to the World's largest Muslim nation, Indonesia, maybe things are on the heat?

Wonder where and by whom the current targets of the day are in the land of OZ?

BadHairDay start a new thread with this info.

Most aussies do not know the scope of this.

I didnt.
Blackadder: Baldrick, how did you manage to find a turnip that cost £400 000?
Baldrick: Well, I had to haggle.

In the event of global nuclear war everywhere is a target they have so many warheads a computer will randomly pick cities after the first wave of strategic targets.
Just to use up the rest.

No Nukes for WA, live down South and not far from Stirling, who needs more Special forces from the US, the size of WA is huge, America (esp Hussein Obama) doesn't have a clue. Mostly inhospitable terrain, snakes wild pigs Emus love it up North.

I kid you not, but over the years I have met no less than three people from Texas who have all said more or less the same thing: Texas is huge, and it's bigger than Australia (although one did say Texas was only about a third the size of Australia).

Man those folk are brainwashed. They are told Texas is the BIG state, and they truly believe it dwarfs Australia in geographic size. Wierd.

ccording to the Australian GeoScience site: Queensland's mainland area is 1 723 936 sq km, with an additional 6712 sq km in island area. The total is 1 730 648 sq km.

Texas, USA - 696,241 km2 (second largest of the 50 states).

Texas is only ONE THIRD the size of QLD here in Aus.

And QLD is only the second largest state in Aus.

Texas is really a pissy little backwater nowhere NOTHING state in comparison.

Americans are world famous for being geographically illiterate; most don't even know where Oz is on a map. I just explain that Oz is the big island on the bottom half of the world map.
