Incidently, I "googled" (hehe) the reason given by Mac Computers for their choice of the Apple with the bite for their logo. The only explanation given was that "they weren't sure where the logo came from except some believe one of the co-creators of the PC liked apples". Yeah...right.

The computer has found a way around God's language barrier. In my husband's case, it is used for God's glory (to fellowship with and encourage another Christian) but think of the millions of other sinister purposes this could serve.

So, knowledge, itself, isn't a bad thing...it just means we have come "full circle" from the Garden of Eden!


..and IMHO I think that you're still confused with respect to what "knowledge" is and to what God is!

Your relative's dream matches one of Hopi's prophecies: "This is the Fifth Sign: The land shall be criss-crossed by a giant spider's web."

Except I believe the Hopi's were referring to telephone lines, yet it really matters not since both interpretations, which have to do with mass communication and universal connectivity, have the same implications for this world.

I believe this "exponential" explosion in technology and knowledge will serve to do one of two things...

It will either:
1) cause people to believe they are intellectually capable of justifying the non-existence of God because all the "knowledge" they need is a mouse click away, (who needs to "experience" God if they can just "google" what they want to "know" about Him)

OR

2) bring about a global revival as the Truth of God is able to reach millions more through this technology than ever before.

I believe there is a "great awakening" and the internet, initially designed to monitor US, is now actually being used to wake the world up to "THEM"!

It's clear that those in power feel threatened by this "knowledge explosion" or they wouldn't be threatening to censor the internet...evidence that the internet is not following their intended purpose. If you watch closely, you can see the "sweat beads" forming on their brows! It's a lovely sight! hehe

Another phenomenon I've noticed is that the more we are connected via the internet, texts, cells, etc., the less relationally connected we are.
