It's clear we're aproaching the end times faster than we think.

A romanian monk has predicted the fall of the twin towers a year before the event. And he also predicted a killing spree that will take place in all of our cities in 2011.

So something's about to happen in following years.

I believe this "exponential" explosion in technology and knowledge will serve to do one of two things...

It will either:
1) cause people to believe they are intellectually capable of justifying the non-existence of God because all the "knowledge" they need is a mouse click away, (who needs to "experience" God if they can just "google" what they want to "know" about Him)

OR

2) bring about a global revival as the Truth of God is able to reach millions more through this technology than ever before.

I believe there is a "great awakening" and the internet, initially designed to monitor US, is now actually being used to wake the world up to "THEM"!

It's clear that those in power feel threatened by this "knowledge explosion" or they wouldn't be threatening to censor the internet...evidence that the internet is not following their intended purpose. If you watch closely, you can see the "sweat beads" forming on their brows! It's a lovely sight! hehe

Thanks, ^Watcher^, I had forgotten that phrase. An exponential growth cannot be sustained forever with finite resources. That means that there is going to be a crash sometime soon.

It is! But I must admit that I try extra hard not to "interpret" by "connecting the dots." Rather, I try to let the knowledge unfold naturally. It takes longer, but it goes deeper.

A relative had a dream in the 80's in which he was "taken" up by an angel into space and given an aerial view of the world. He saw towers being erected in the US and UK and between them a spider web was formed. Within seconds, these towers were everywhere and the "spider web" encompassed the globe. He didn't know what these towers were (there was no internet or cell phones to speak of at that time) so he asked the angel what he was seeing.

The angel responded with this..."This is the fulfilling of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil."

When my relative stated to me the angel's interpretation in his dream, he asked me to look on the back of my laptop and tell him what I saw. There was the MacIntosh Computer logo...THE APPLE WITH THE BITE TAKEN OUT OF IT! The universal symbol for mankind's act of rebellion in the Garden of Eden...Hidden in PLAIN VIEW!

I don't think you can be spiritually minded and a christ follower. Followers are NOT spiritual. They are followers... believers... in other words, NOT looking into their own inner wonder... but believing what someone else says.

Followers are, sorry to say, just followers.... their spiritual journey has stopped and they are stuck in their beliefs.....

I have never in my life seen so many people that are either atheists or they believe in something 'new age'. I also see the people who have a 'cold heart'. I deal with these people on a daily basis. I for one believe there is very little time left until Jesus returns. I am not wanting any doom per se, because the day the Lord Jesus returns will probablly be a frightening day for most. There are so many lost right now and most that I see aren't making any big change towards believeing in Jesus. They are just so deluded and blinded by all the lies and I truly believe that the internet just serves to lead more astray.

Incidently, I "googled" (hehe) the reason given by Mac Computers for their choice of the Apple with the bite for their logo. The only explanation given was that "they weren't sure where the logo came from except some believe one of the co-creators of the PC liked apples". Yeah...right.

Yes, no one would have realized in the 80s the highly and intensely interconnected lives we live. A tree is another good metaphor.

And now we turn to Google for our "knowledge of good and evil." Pretty soon, no one will have to think for themselves anymore.

Thanks for this...very interesting, and your assumptions are correct in my opinion. A very true way to increase knowledge AND a way for people to stop personal socialization.
