Illegal Search - Police Respond to Man With Crossbow & Seize House

i see all of you saying that the police were just trying to do their jobs, and that he shoulda showed id and all this....but, lemme let you all in on a lil somethin, im from that neck of the woods and for one thing, the Lincoln PD have a history, as of recently, of overreacting, and overresponding. This is one of those cases, doesn't anybody think that there was just a lil too many cops there for a supposid crossbow, which are legal mind you....Not too long ago, the LPD over responded and overreacted and ended up causing a small shootout, but, again, they were the ones doing the shooting and causing the chaos, you guys should look into who your defending before you open your mouth, trust me, living in this area, i get to hear ALOT about how those idiots fuck up or freak out.....true, he shoulda just showed id and told them to leave, but again, the mentality of citizens in that area is that no matter what you do, THEY are gonna screw you over or try to shoot at you....just sayin

He was on private property its illegal to discharge a firearm in city limits I didn't think archery equipment is considered a firearm?

I was suprised to hear this info when I bought a gun.

The store guy told me the new Homeland Security law or FEMA law says you can not shot a gun anywhere but a designated shooting range. If you shoot on private property without a gun carry permit you are illegal. If you don't own the property you are illegal.

So looking at the size of the yard....30 X 75...the neighbors had a right to be afraid of a guy shooting inbetween 2 trailers...

Guy should have shown ID and his wife should have simply escorted them back to where the bow and arrow was.

The cops probably did over react but don't punch some lady officer in the face. Take the beating and hope your wife films it... which she didn't.
