I know lots of people (of Italian ancestry) who do the seven fishes thing, but many of them do Lobster, Shrimp, Cod, Flounder, etc.,. Friends from Italy have never heard of it, but think it only occurs there near the water, where people live on fish. Whatever, enjoy, sounds like fun! |

Edited to Add: The family who had the dinner hails from Calabria ... he said it's so close to Sicily you can hear Sicilian cowbells if the wind is right, lol.
